What activity is more fundamentally human than walking upright on two feet?

 

Walking, we hope, you know what it is.
Hiking would be cross- country walking, an outdoor activity in natural environments.
Orienteering is hiking that requires navigational skills using a map and compass to navigate from point to point in diverse and usually unfamiliar terrain.

 

Are you spending too much time indoor, sitting on computer or watching TV?
Step away from your couch and step back out, into the nature.
Proper shoes, a few pieces of proper clothing, a comfortable backpack, and you’re pretty much ready to go.

 

As you hike more frequently, you’ll begin to develop additional stamina, skills, and comfort on the trail.
You will see incredible landscapes, beautiful views, meet interesting people, breath the cleanest air, smell wild sage, rosemary … It’s clear and eases your mind and builds a healthier body.

 

After all, who wouldn’t find it appealing to take an invigorating walk in a pristine place where the air is fresh and the scenery lovely and inspiring? There’s no substitute for going on foot and experiencing nature firsthand. Photographs or words can never quite do it!

There and Back Again, Rabac-Labin (Old Town)

With the fresh scent of laurel and pine, you will reveal the most beautiful protected landscape of the area. It will take you back to your childhood and the forgotten landscapes from your imagination. Fairy groves intersected by streams and rapids, over crossed with seven bridges. The Pećina stream waterfalls overflow through the winding tuff barriers, and the mysterious Negri’s cave hides a well. The spring water was once used to run an old mill whose ruins stand near the largest waterfall that pours into the turquoise lake in the stream valley in the Maslinica bay.
